How I discovered  MJ’s…

After hearing numerous comments from my colleagues and friends about how amazing the burgers are at Monterey Jack’s, I have eventually decided to try it myself. While looking up the place online I have spotted a great offer online on Itison - Burgers and Drinks for Two at Monterey Jack's, Merchant Square.



What happened next…

The voucher did not require reserving a table, so we walked in on a Sunday early evening. The place was very busy with the restaurant being almost full. However, the staff was lovely and very accommodating, The waitress took note of the voucher's code, explained the deal, pointed out what was part of the deal and suggested some best-selling cocktails. Both of us ordered the Green Mile - Beef burger with crisp bacon, avocado, halloumi, beef tomato, salad and chili jam. We also decided to add a side (was not included in the deal) of Sweet Potato fries with maple syrup and chili glaze. As per drinks, we selected fruity Pineapple and Coconut Bump and a pint of draught beer Coors light.

OMG! The burgers were delicious, cocktails were very lovely and the Sweet Potato Fries were amazing! The service was very attentive and we could not fault a thing! We also loved the American/Western feel of the place and the tunes of the British rock band -  Queen. 
I think MJ’s is a great addition and brings the fun to Merchant Square. I must say that was our first visit and it won't be our last! We are definitely going back!
